For a few fleeting moments the rising sun infused everything in the sky and on the landscape with a pink-ish glow. It was cloudy, with ground fog that had created a hoar frost coating over the trees and bushes, adding to the marvellous look. Rather than adjust the colour in post-processing, I decided to leave it much as I saw it.
