„Der Drolma La ist mit 5630 Metern oder fast 18.500 Fuß der höchste Punkt der Kora um den Berg Kailash. Der abgelegene tibetische Berg wird von vier verschiedenen Religionen als heilig angesehen: Buddhismus, Hinduismus, Bön und Jainismus. Die Kora ist eine Umrundung des Berges im Uhrzeigersinn für alle außer Bönpo auf einem 56 Kilometer oder 35 Meilen langen Weg. Als ich innehielt, um meine Umgebung zu betrachten und mir zu dieser körperlichen Leistung zu gratulieren, kamen diese beiden buddhistischen Frauen an und begannen, Selfies zu machen. Obwohl viele Einheimische die mehrtägige Wanderung regelmäßig unternehmen, ist es dennoch eine spirituelle Reise, die es wert ist, in Erinnerung zu bleiben.“
