Gewöhnlich kann der Oleander sehr einfach über Stecklinge vermehrt werden, dazu können Sie sogar anfallendes Schnittgut vom jährlichen Rückschnitt verwenden. Es gibt jedoch auch die Möglichkeit, Oleander über selbst gesammelte Samen zu vermehren, denn der Strauch bildet bei entsprechender Witterung auch hierzulande samenhaltige Balgfrüchte aus. Allerdings brauchen Sie für diese Art der Pflanzenvermehrung deutlich mehr Geduld als bei der Stecklingsanzucht.
