Fulmars are easily recognisable in flight as their wingsare straight, but they are very clumsy on landing. A lovely capture, Gudrun, particularly against the silky grey patters on the sea.

Two lovely images of this gorgeous looking bird in flight. They're fascinating to watch. I also like the colour of the water and the patterns on the surface.

Did you know they have a special structure on their beak which filters salt from seawater, allowing them to drink it. How clever is that?
