SC188- Dutch Artists

I had some ideas about doing multiple exposure Escher-esque staircases but didn't get around to it. So it has to be archives.

The first time I saw this building I christened it the Mondrian-house. It's just offices with a supermarket on the ground floor.

Seen from the other side, with the golden roof of Clarion hotel in the background

Thanks a lot, Amelia! I had better ideas but didn't get around to it, time just slipped away and after yesterday's 6 hours at the opera my head was filled with other things;-)

Mondrian, I agree Gudrun!
The roof is reminiscent of Rem Koolhaas
Nicely shown!

Gudrun replied to J.Garcia:

Thank you so much, Judite! You are right with Rem Koolhaas- the tele lens made the roof look nearer than it is.

It has also a touch of Le Corbusier... but this one is not Dutch, so let's keep Mondrian.

Gudrun replied to Xata:

Obrigada, Isabel! Le Corbusier has been an influence on most architects;-) The Mondrian bit is purely decorative here.

I wonder whether the architect was equally inspired.
