Oslo city hall is a monumental building in typical 1930ies design. Due to WWII the city hall took 19 years to complete (1931-1950). The large main hall (31x39m, 21m high) has marble floors and wall paintings by Henrik Sørensen and Alf Rolfsen. The one in the photo depicts Oslo during the occupation.
