After lying dormant for more than a century, Tongariro erupted in 2012 at upper Te Māri Crater. There were two eruptions, one in August and a much smaller one on 21 November. When we passed the mountain 6 days later there was still some activity.
Danke vielmals, Udo! Als der ausgebrochen ist, waren wir weit weg ganz im Norden.... Wenigstens hat er noch ein bisschen gequalmt, als wir dann dort waren;-)
