The airship mast on Vadsøya was used by Umberto Nobile and Roald Amundsen on their North Pole expedition with the airship Norge in 1926, and again in 1928 by Nobile with the airship Italia.
The sky is superb. I love the row of pewter cotton wool clouds against the golden sky, which changes again into blues and indigo. Is this taken with a new camera, Gudrun?
Thanks a lot, Amelia! 2 years ago I treated myself to a new smaller camera but I still use the Canon too, especially with tele and for northern lights. This one has a fixed 28mm lens but allows for a lot of cropping.
