Wouldn't have guessed! Very creative +++++
Did you try with the Q2?

Gudrun replied to Xata:

Obrigada, isabel! It's a bit cropped, I had gone as near as my macro lens allowed but had too much empty space around;-)

I didn't think of trying with the Q2, must do one of these days...

A great idea.........I would never have thought of that. The detail of the centre of the burining stick is amazing........it looks almost as hot as as lava!

A fascinating and well taken shot Gudrun.

Gudrun replied to Keith Burton:

Thank you so much, Keith! It burned down more quickly than I expected. At first I though I had got the distance wrong but it was just the burned down bits moving;-)

I can almost detect the perfume, Gudrun. I wonder why the stick burned down so quickly?

Interesting choice of subject, great resulting texture and colours, almost abstract.
