My first try at a little planet, inset the panorama it was made from. Shot from the top of Isla Incahuasi, an island in the middle of Uyuni salt flats.
Are these rocks in the middle of a snowfield, Gudrun? It looks like an autumn dried flower arrangement on a perfectly thrown pottery plate. How do you do this?
I've just read the description - better late than never. the snow field is in fact salt flats. ;-)
Thanks a lot, Amelia! Lol, one of those Victorian arrangements under glass;-)
I found out how to do this when trying out orbs for TSC;-) This page is helpful: www.photographymad.com/pages/view/little-planet-photos-5-simple-steps-to-making-panorama-worlds
You don't have to use Panoramas, you can also crop a normal photo to a wide format (2:1) and then follow the steps in the link.
Herzlichen Dank, Erhard! Ich habe immer gerätselt, wie das mit den Planeten geht... Ist ja eigentlich ganz einfach, wenn man ein passendes Ausgangsfoto hat.
