This was taken in September, Bob. Summer was ending. I don't know why the pots weren't taken in, though.

Your composition suits the portrait orientation perfectly John.......I like the colour of the brickwork and the trailing ivy..........and even the dead plants in the pots. Whoever is responsible for the pots definitely doesn't have "green fingers" :-))

Thanks, Keith. I imagine I was attracted by the narrowness of the window. Green fingers (aka thumbs here) are certainly far less frequent in Canada than in the UK.
