An interesting find John, although I haven't a clue what the notice is all about. I like the detail and textures you've captured, particularly in the brickwork and the rusty but ornate bars over the windows. I like the red bicycle too.
A lot to see here!, from the suspended all-red bicycle, the mismatched window grills, and some incomprehensible window graffiti. to the poster that could have been anything from salacious to women's lib. What a painting this would make!
Thank you very much, Bob. Seriously, I wouldn't mind seeing it done by Norman Rockwell. Or by Jasper Johns. Oh -- it would me amusing to see what disgusting moral instruction Holman Hunt could draw from this.
