“Eu nu sunt eu. Eu sunt altul. Sunt unul într-altul.”
― Eugène Ionesco, The Chairs
Sums it up, really.
I don’t know what the quote means, but when I saw it, it seemed to fit, with the way the words interconnect like the chairs.
Ionesco must have been reading critiques of personality psychology, Steve. But still, I saw "The Chairs" 50 years ago, shortly after university, and don't recall making that observation. Actually, all I remember is the Old Man walking around gingerly in an unusual costume. Life is wasted on me.
