Yes, it is. My mother used to pick up trash like this seen on the streets. But she lives in a very small town. If I or anyone would start doing it here, it would be an endless job! City also does arrange cleaning, but it is done something like once in the month. And it is done with large machines on the streets. A lot of garbage tossed a little further from street area may have to wait until the owner of the property arranges cleaning. In some cases never...

On local newspaper there was a story about guy who did voluntary cleaning on beaches and park areas. But he was getting old, and there was no-one to continue his work.

Allgemein wird bei uns in der Stadt jedes Krümelchen weg geräumt.
Die Spuren jeglicher Art werden beseitigt und schnell sind diese vergessen.
Es geht das Gefühl für einen verständnisvollen und Respektvollen Umgang verloren.

Und die, die als einzelner etwas tun... die werden fast schon belächelt.
Das dies nicht nur edel ist sondern auch selbstlos, erkennt kaum noch jemand.

Wenn ich zum Fotografieren in der Natur unterwegs bin, trage ich das ein und andere Kilo Foto-Ausrüstung bei mir. Ein Plastikbeutel ist auch dabei. Er wiegt kaum ein Gramm und wird auch nicht wesentlich schwerer, wenn solch warum auch immer weggeworfener Plastikmüll in ihm landet. Ja, in der Natur sind keine Kehrmaschinen und freundlichen Müllmänner unterwegs, aber ich bin es. "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time"
