God be thanks is my present "occupation" : Pensioner ... ;-))

Just avoid being too "lazy" ;-)

Actually that "occupational hazard" is not very far from the truth. I have ankylosing spondylitis, and office work definitely does not help on that. That image is a view from my office window.

I hope nobody in the office was woken up when the explosion started! ;-))
Great job!

Sami Serola (inactiv… replied to malona:

Mirror Lab:

▹ Alchemy > Height Map 3D
▹ "Navigation tool" on right used to choose the center of "explosion"
▹ Then pinch zoom to crop and pick the area for composition
▹ "Gamma" setting helped to enhance the colors brighter
▹ Save

Snapseed:

▹ Original opened for EXIF
▹ Tools > Double Exposure > + to open the Mirror Lab image on the original
▹ Slider on previous to make the added exposure as fully opaque
▹ Save

PicMonkey:

▹ Basic settings > Exposure used to brighten the image more
▹ Frames added

wow, thank you very much, Sami. ;-)
my question was more rhetorical , I always "forget" to write down which steps i went through...

Yes, I thought the question was rhetoric =D

Because it all was still in fresh memory, I decided to share the details. But the point is to encourage people to see that one software is maybe not enough. For example Mirror Lab is not recording EXIF, and that is why I started to use Snapseed together with it. And then PicMonkey is often a good tool to give a final touch.

First I thought it looks like a Pink Floyd-Album-Cover. Never heard Melorman before. Thanx for sharing! That fits very well. :-)
