Where is the time where people were polite and well-educated !! This is the first thing we teach to our children as politness is a good way to respect the other and to live together !!!

Rather complex issue... I say until 1960s people at least tried to follow "etiquette of good manners". Then came a thing called "free upbringing". But there are also huge cultural differences. Equality may have increased, but so does individualism.
