Imaginary Malevich's red squares: Fired

"There is movement and movement. There are movements of small tension and movements of great tension and there is also a movement which our eyes cannot catch although it can be felt. In art this state is called dynamic movement." -Kazimir Malevich

(Technical detail: White balance preset from green spot to get red; ND filter, ISO 80 and f/8 used to get long exposure; only post processing is the contrasts enhanced.)

Thank you very much =) Good guess but it is not a penguin feathers. There are green leaves of bushes. Camera has been moved. Oh, and this is turned upside down from the original.

I also love the rain on red too, and the way you spread it out from the center.

You should tell people you have a shot in the notes, I just saw it by accident (like usual)

Quite interesting! I can't tell exactly what it is by looking at it, but that doesn't matter. What it is now speaks volumes.

Sami Serola (inactiv… replied to HaarFager:

Green leaves they are, nothing more, nothing less =D Motion blur is after all an easy way to make impressionist and/or abstracted images. One could also call this as a "fauvist" work because the white balance on camera has been changed dramatically: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fauvism
