Chancel rebuilt 1855 to designs of C.A. Buckler. Clayton and Bell carried out the wall paintings c.1889-90, following a scheme designed (according to the church guidebook) by the rector, Robert Goodwin, along with his widowed sister Elizabeth, who helped to finance the work.
