They have started to come down! See last week's South London Press. I went past on Friday in pouring rain on my way to meet someone at KCH and one could see activity, but no major change. They will have to find a new film & TV shooting locale!

Wonder what will be built in their place? I hadnt been back there for many many years...always spent my summer hols there with my Aunty....was relieved to see the block of flats where she lived was being re-furbed..(Draper House)

I worked next door in Castle House for several years in the 1980s, in the Premises Section of Southwark Social Services, purchasing furniture, equipment & services for their homes and day centres. We had a training centre on one of the lower floors of Draper House. Small world!
