Picture Picture

I went there only once and stayed for maybe half-an-hour. I think it was October; certainly after the season had ended, and the place looked closed. Maybe nothing much happens even when the warm days are upon it. So I took a picture, and I've spent far more time messing around with that picture than I ever did at the seafront taking it. They say the place is a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life, a magnet for those seeking a tranquil coastal retreat. I'd agree with that. There was no suggestion of hustle, nor bustle, and the tranquility was like Mogadon.

That’s how it’ll be on the Last Day in Hornsea.
I must visit. I hope there’s a coffee shop.

The Limbo Connection replied to Steve Bucknell:

I did not see a cafe or restaurant. Maybe I just missed it, or one has opened since to meet the demand created by my publicity. Even if there is one, be prepared to find it closed. You are closer to Hornsea than I, so by all means act as the pioneer. Better book now, to avoid the shuffle.

A wonderful framing device. I’ll try that with our hall mirror.
