Girl in a Book+Jar in a Bush

Step 1 (2013): The plasticised label round a jar of instant coffee was removed and pushed inside the empty jar where it unfurled itself until it reached the edges. I put the jar into a bush and photographed it with a Nikon D50 and a 50mm lens.
Step 2 (2024) I made a double exposure of the above, uniting it with another photograph of a girl in a book. Nikon D700 and Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 AI lens.
Step 3 (?) You see it and wonder what purpose was served by combining these two pictures.

Re Step 3. The purpose is clear: to see what it looks like when it has been photographed (per Garry Winogrand). Not everything has a "meaningful" purpose; it just "is". Whether the end result is "good" or not is entirely in the purview of the audience and can vary considerably from day to day.
