Bee
Neonicotinoids are among the most widely used insecticides in crop protection. Because they affect the central nervous system of insects, neonicotinoids kill a wide variety of both target and non-target insects. Neonicotinoids contaminate wetlands, streams, and rivers, and due to their widespread use, pollinating insects are chronically exposed to them. Neonicotinoids are very bad news for bees, and because our food supply depends on the work bees do, they are very bad news for us too.
