nice one, a very long time ago I used to live a few hundred yards away from here, always liked the PoV of stone and curves and bridges and trains from this spot, and it's great to see that no steel barriers have been erected on that elegant low wall

This photo dates from 2010. Since then a fence has been erected. The railway is to be electrified; the track bed will have to be lowered and pylons put in. Arguably, the scope for this sort of photograph has already vanished and will certainly be completely compromised soon.
