Land between Crummock Water and Buttermere
Buttermere and Crummock Water were once a single lake. They became separated by alluvium deposits coming down off the surrounding hills. There is some good farming land between the two lakes and it is an attractive place for a walk.
Nikon D50 and 35mm f/1.8 DX lens. Exposure details: 400 ISO, f/8, 1/250th sec.
