Young Betty had big dreams in Tinsel Town. But her roles were all supporting. A server at a Wienerschnitzel forerunner, then at her brother Frederick's first shop, then assisting milliners and hairdressers. Ultimately, it was handsome dentist Dr. Magnin who discovered her. Off to New Haven and the life of a suburban matron. Good thing she kept her figure all those years!!
