To be honest, I've sampled Angel Food Cake just enough times to know that I'd never bother fixing one from scratch. To quote Craig Claiborne (but in reference to another recipe), I just don't think that "the game is worth the candle." :D

I just want to know where the unneeded yolks went. It was the 1930s, so I can't imagine that "Into the trash" would be the right answer. o_0
