"Party Cakes (8)," 1933

I don't mean to be picky, but "complete in itself" shouldn't require so much elaborate costuming.

To be honest, I've sampled Angel Food Cake just enough times to know that I'd never bother fixing one from scratch. To quote Craig Claiborne (but in reference to another recipe), I just don't think that "the game is worth the candle." :D

hmm. We should form a club. I really dislike angel food cake. It's rubbery and tasteless and always seems like the important ingredients were forgotten.

Pointless is a good way of describing it.

I just want to know where the unneeded yolks went. It was the 1930s, so I can't imagine that "Into the trash" would be the right answer. o_0
