The afterthought part of the title is due to those floral or sunburst shapes being from a whiskey ad. The same goes for the blue water, which is part of a decanter. It was used once in the far-flung past, but not recently. See
here. Meanwhile, that city drawing is from a dairy company. I've heard of Scotch and milk as an old-timey drink, so this would be pretty close. (The great James Baldwin referenced it in "Sonny's Blues," for instance.)
