C.C. Rider

Happy Saturday! (Or Sunday, depending on where you are.)

That floral shape is the same one as in this year's "Space Spider", but heavily filtered and recolored. After its transformation, it made me think of candy corn. Hence the title and the kids' Western motif. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Song reference, give or take a spelling change. :D

The accidental candy corn via filtration has happened before. Here, for instance. But that always was a favorite Halloween treat for me. So I'm good. ;)

Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3900 X 3375.

xenophora replied to Léopold:

[grin] No worries. That's a toy gun from the 1950s. The boots are also from that era. Though such designs don't change very much. I had a pair like this, back in the 1980s.

That model IS a beauty, but you'll need a time machine. She's from 1973.

A friend gave me an old Montgomery Ward's catalog they found from that year. Most of it was badly damaged, but I managed to salvage a few good lookers for my files. :D
