SavvyLizards

Savvy Lizards. There is a witty and chillingly accurate saying doing the rounds at the moment (but no enough and not widely undisputed, worse luck) about the so-called ceasefire: You cease, we fire. Indeed.
Quote for the day.
A policy should never be based on the extermination of the adversary; not only because -and this is a lot to say- it is morally an abomination, but because it is materially unfeasible. And the blood unjustly spilled by the hatred that seeks to exterminate will be reborn, sprouting and giving accursed fruits; a curse that will not be restricted, unfortunately, to those who spiled the blood, but which will be over the very country which -to compound its misfortune- absorbed it.

Thank you, Deborah. Shame indeed x100. Sometimes I actually regret having lived that long only to see history repeating itself...even worse. :-(

Dolores - we could talk for a very long time.
I try to take comfort from people who see and speak out about the filthy, evil psychopaths and what they are doing to people and the world.
It helps to know that others see it. Small comfort for those who are suffering, I know.

Deborah, thanks for talking to me no matter who briefly and remotely!
I, too, take small (but vital?) comfort in talking to the odd kindred spirit and even the more frequent not-so-kindred, in case I migtht be able to persuade them that all is not as brilliant as our dear leaders (or whatever FaceSoddingBook they are in) would have us believe.
PS..Being half an East-Ender, I'd be inclined to call you Debs but I won't without your permission. Stay as groovy as you can. XXX
