Kimisis tis Theotokou (Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God) is a late Byzantine Greek Orthodox church. It was built in the last quarter of the 12th century.

During the Frankish Crusader rule in the 13th century, the Orthodox clergy in the region were expelled and the Latin rite was introduced into the churches. The present-day place name Gastounis also derives from this period, as the local Frankish vassal is thought to have been named Gaston. The church was not rebuilt or fundamentally altered by the Crusaders. During the Venetian period, a free-standing bell tower was added to the church in the 17th century.
