Argos - Thermae

The Argos Theater was built in 320 BC. The theater is one of the largest architectural developments in Greece and was renovated in ca 120 AD. The theater has a very long history, evolving from a small archaic theater to a monumental theater holding 20,000 spectators

Next to the large theatre thermae were erected during the Roman period. The bath complex functioned until the early Christian time.
