Kato Pyrgos is a small town that developed in the 20th century. It is somewhat isolated, being located very close to the "Green Line," which separates the two parts of Cyprus. There are several beaches and coves in the area. The most beautiful is probably Omega Bay, which is completely deserted in winter.
