Phalasarna refers to an ancient port city. The present-day settlement lies south of the ruins of Phalasarna on the coast of Livadia Bay.

Approaching the former port, the road passes a large olive grovealhuand area, that obviously was a necropolis from the 6th century BC to the end of the 4th century BC. Near the road is this "throne". The function is unknown.
