Roma - Tempio di Ercole Vincitore

The Temple of Hercules Victor ("Tempio di Ercole Vincitore") is a Roman monopteros with a diametre of about 14,80m.

The temple, erected around 120 bC, was converted to a church in 1132. Originally it was dedicated to Saint Stephanus. Since the 17th century is dedicated to "Santa Maria del Sole".
