La Barre-de-Semilly - Saint-Ébremond
The parish church "Saint-Ébremond" in La Barre-de-Semilly, east of Saint-Lô, dates back to the mid of the 12th century, parts of the walls are done in "opus spicatum" ("herringbone-pattern"). The long nave with the side door, seen here, may be a little younger than the eastern parts. The capitals have simple Romanesque carvings.
