Don't you have a lens adapter that does autofocus with Contax G lenses on the a7?

No, I'm using the Metabones one with a focusing ring. It's a little hard to mount, and the focusing can be a bit stiff on some lenses, but it still works pretty good. I looked at the TechArt autofocus adapter but some people are having problems with the current version (III). Hopefully they will get it sorted out.

I see. It looks like it does work pretty well. Is it good enough to be a carry-around, shoot-with-it-regularly camera/lens combo?

The 35mm is probably the weakest in the G lineup, but it does have some nice characteristics. Because of the cumbersome nature of adapting it, I probably wouldn't use it as an everyday lens. The G 45mm however would be worth it.
