Winter Sunset and MoPub Power Lines.

I haven’t really came up for it name yet. This is a Mixed Media Piece I’m working on in my AP Art Studio class in school. I drew it, then colored it in Watercolor, Acrylic Paint, and Prismacolor Colored Pencils. It’s not placed off of anything, just something I came up with. A log cabin and a barn in in the Missouri Winter (When it actually snows). The poles are placed off of “Missouri Public Service Co” 34.5kv Sub-Transmission Poles and Single Phase Underbuild Distribution.

This isn’t fully completed yet. I just need to add a few more details to the Road and Shadows.

That looks AWESOME! If you're up for it, bring it over to the Platte City show - I'm sure there will be quite a few people that would like to see it.

Thank you! Chris Hedges really liked it. After I showed him my art work, we sat there for about a hour and a half talking about Missouri Public Service, Aquila Electric Co, and Early KCP&L.

David Dahle replied to Lewis Perkins:

Nice! Looks like you had a good time. It hadn't occurred to me when I was at the show, but there was another collector there who's done some insulator art in the past (Mike Tucker) and he had displayed his work all the way back in 1997 at the National show in Rosemont, IL.

Lewis Perkins replied to David Dahle:

I did. :) Do you have or know where I can find pictures of his Art? I have yet to meet anybody who shares a common skill of Art that also has a interest and knowledge of Electricity and Power Lines. I would really enjoy meeting this Mike Tucker if I had the chance.
