Back during the covid crazies I started doing throwaway paintings on emptied cardboard (Preferably beer) boxes.

I got out of the habit but it was such fun I'm starting again.

This one, I laid the background, planning a busy winter scene, skiers, snowmachiners, backpacked hikers on snowshoes, snow load spruce trees etc. but....

I stepped back 10 feet for a critical look and found I'm so delighted with the way the shades play I'm going to throw it away just as it is!

Acrylic on cardboard, 18 by 22 inches.
