I wouldn't say acrylic's my preferred medium, it depends on what I'm seeing, what I'mm saying.

For example my throwaway album on this site, mostly paintings on cardboard boxes, acrylic said those best. Quick life drawings, I find best captured with charcoal. Field sketches, travel journals, ink and watercolor.
