Mystery rose SC 5141

This one is a bit of a mystery. It began as a dark red shrub rose (Champlain), but we had to dig it up and replant it. It came back as a pink creeping rose. Perhaps it is the original root stock? Taken after a heavy rain.

It seems to be doing OK despite what has been done to it! A survivor, even if a survivor from old root stock! Interesting anyway!

Andrew Trundlewagon replied to Andy Rodker:

Hi Andy, yes, it's amazing how resilient some plants are. They can look so delicate but be as tough as boots, then there are the others you hope will flourish and they just fade away. I am just grateful for whatever makes it through the winter and my neglect.
