I have a friend somewhere who collects these, his collection is huge and he is often asked to show them. The majority are from vietnam veterans who 'personalised' them with engraved messages and logos, some of which are very astute. other famous brands have added their logo's too in mutual back-scratching
The big thing about zippo's is their wind-proof design and the fact that your pockets would smell of lighter fluid!:-)
