Mysterious atmosphere in what appears to be the remains of an abbey!

It's the old Coventry Cathedral which was destroyed in a bombing raid the outer walls and the spire remain a replacement was built adjacent to it, if you look at my page 9 you find a photo the canopy on the right unites the new and old

It's Coventry Cathedral the ruins weren't open probably because of a frosty start to the day it certainly looked different to a sunny day

The Raven is also said to represent rebirth very apt for Coventry Cathedral

Ah, I thought I had recognized them - I was a student in Coventry many moons ago.
The old cathedral has a very strong presence and is a place for quiet contemplation, and your image shows that very clearly ...
Graduation was in the "new" cathedral, and quite a lot of us also took images in the ruins.
