just the perfect light!

It shines beautifully through the petals Peter and the detail on the lower part is superb. I love the bokeh background. Are these in your garden? I saw this colour at the local garden centre last week. I would like some of them. Have a good and sunny day.

I don't know what variety it is I was given a bit years ago this is the best year ever there are 11 spikes with 4 buds on each and they are taller than usual 3-4 feet, it was the setting sun so more or less horizontal. I like a wander round the garden with my camera in the evening the colours and contours are better than bright light. I hope you are having a nice day Rosalyn, not quite as hot as yesterday
