We have Christmas trees in our village church too, Peter; decorated by the various groups. Belonging to the Scottish Country Dancing group, I helped to decorate our tree with bunches of heather, tartan bows, dancing shoes and the like. We even have a set of bagpipes underneath it. ;-)
