King Richard III
The tomb is in Leicester Cathedral Richard was killed at the battle of Bosworth Field in 1485 the last English king to die in battle, what happened to his remains was unknown it was thought that it had been thrown into the river Soar. In 2012 Leicester University started to excavate a car park on the site of Greyfriars Priory Church, test confirmed that the skeleton they found was Richard in 2015 he was re-interred in the Cathedral which is very close to where he was found
