Ha, ha.....I hate being late and I always get everywhere early, so watches that no longer work are only good for taking photos of. I was clearing out some old boxes in one of our spare rooms when I found these, which my wife had stored away and forgetten about..!!

Some are children's watches and some were worn by my wife, who likes colourful watches and straps. Glad you like this little collection Mikus and thanks for dropping by and leaving such nice comments..!!

Some belonged to our children when they were very young and, believe it or not some were my wife's. She likes colourful watches and straps!

A colourful family watch collection which has become your new clever still life, in a fine display and of course with the perfect backdrop to go with!

They still have some use as a great photo opportunity. Watches have basically been made obsolete, replaced by cell phones, etc, but you have made good use of these in a very interesting shot!

Looks like someone has been trawling the charity shops again. A nice colourful idea here which as you say is timeless.

I could add two or three of my own which stopped working shortly after I had the battery changed;-)
