Yes the water often rises to the top of the stone wall and sometimes a few feet higher. The locals are used to this and are well prepared..!!

I like this a lot especially being able to see more of the buildings in the background, as ever it is pin sharp and looks even better viewed large.

This is a wonderful and serene scene! The water puddles and swans make for foreground interest and the composition over all is perfect!
