Sails of the South
The Sails Of The South are located in the central reservation of the M275, the motorway leading to the city of Portsmouth, Hampshire. The sails are 43 metres high and mark the junction with the M27 motorway. The design is meant to symbolise the three directions of the motorway intersection as well as recognising Portsmouth's maritime activities. The sails are normally illuminated at night.
In the foreground are a number of Brent Geese and a few gulls.

Glad you like the looks of the sails and the birds. It does get lit up at night, but I've never taken a photograph of it. Thanks for your kind and generous comments as always,
Enjoy the rest of your evening.......best wishes, Keith.

Keith Burton replied to James:
Glad you like the shot James..........I wish I'd had a longer lens though, as the birds were quite a distance away.
