Sunflower and Wildflower Fields (+PiPs)

I visited the sunflower and wildflower fields, which are part of a farm on Hayling Island, Hampshire.

I only stayed a couple hours as it was getting busier and busier with families and children which made getting photos with no one in quite difficult. Also the flowers were a little past their best, not helped by the extremely hot weather we've been having. Nevertheless, it was still quite enjoyable!

Please check out the PiPs for a couple of sunflower photos. Thanks for looking!

Keith Burton replied to Stephan Fey:

Ha, ha.......I wondered if anyone would notice the bathtub sign..........the fields are set up with various things for people to photograph their children in : a swing, an old tractor, hay bales etc and of course a bathtub!

Keith Burton replied to Ed Letts:

You're right Ed............it's a huge place, with several acres devoted to sunflowers and wildflowers, plus fields of wheat and corn. There's also a large maze a café, a BBQ area, a bar and a small stage.

Glad you like the phots.......and thanks for dropping by!

Keith Burton replied to Ed Synchro:

It is indeed Ed..............see my reply to the other Ed (above). Worth an hour or so's visit on your own with a camera and also a decent half day out with the family.

Glad you like these images and thank for commenting.

A peaceful scene and lovely PiPs! I can imagine the heat doesn't help the flowers- and when a thunderstorm comes they may be flattened.
