Brokers Gin Bottle Label

An extra photo from me today, posted for the latest Macro Dreams Challenge Group's latest theme: Bottle Label.

This is the label of a miniature bottle of gin that's been sitting around in our house for quite a few years.

I've photographed it before back in 2019: www.ipernity.com/doc/keithburton/49542562

One day I'll get round to drinking it instead of photographing it.

Keith Burton replied to aNNa schramm:

Indeed............we have quite a few varieties but it's my wife who drinks gin. I prefer Jack Daniels or rum.

Having said that, we both drink very little nowadays..........just on special occasions :-)

Keith Burton replied to Günter Klaus:

Thanks Güni...............glad you like this one. It's only a miniature bottle though, part of a "taster" set. Hardly even a mouthful..!!

The guy on the label needs more food and less gin, methinks,
It is however a fascinating label, nicely captured Keith

A great close-up here Keith. It looks like it was steamed of the bottle and then ironed before being photographed. Well done.

Cheers. Herb

Oh I've got a bottle of Apricot liqueur that I was given in 1995, which had been put on the side for when I want to celebrate something - then the person who had given it to me, came for a visit about 5 years ago and brought another bottle of the same thing!!! I'd hidden the original one away because I didn't want to upset him. Now I've got two bottles. It tastes so gorgeous, you've got to have something special to use it.

Meanwhile your picture here is brilliant - the picture of a man (city gent looking as if in mid-1950's) yet the date on the label says 2000.

Aha...Mother's ruin! I was sick on it once when I was 17 and have never touched the stuff since!

A touch of tonic water and slice of lemon Keith....not enough to share if it's a miniature :-)
I love the label and you have photographed it beautifully for the challenge.
